Dragon-shifters are a race of supernatural beings born with a lust for power. They will stop at nothing to get what they want. Untamable, borderline insane - dragon's simply don't play well with others. But that doesn't matter to Dakenmeir. His agenda is a very strict one.

One that includes Ahndrai within his plans. As one of only two Arcanists in the world, Ahndrai's powerful ability to touch a place called the veil is exactly what Dakenmeir is looking for. Ahndrai's battle with the deadly dragon ends in horror as Ahndrai's lover, Eshan, is ripped from him. Tossed into despair, unable to think of any reason as to why he should continue fighting, Ahndrai wanders the globe pointlessly.

Until he ends up in Scone, Scottland. It is a small town, one made up of mostly supernatural beings and very few, unknowing humans. Living side by side, it is a quiet town. Almost perfect for Ahndrai to waste away in. Until a dragon confronts him and he's suddenly tossed back into the fight he thought he ran away from. Yet, he finds himself among new companions, and a wolf-shifter who is starting to have an uncanny ability of always being in the right place at the right time.

And slowly working his way straight into Ahndrai's heart.

Blood on Sand

23 parts Complete Mature

Zoe wants to die. He's had enough of the cold, the starvation, and the blood. He has done everything he can to make his owner kill him, so why doesn't he? Sitting in the middle of a fighting arena like a modern gladiator, he is waiting for the killing blow...but it never comes. Wojtek doesn't care about the crawler bleeding out on the sand, he doesn't. But losing him would mean losing his best combatant, and he can't afford that. Instead of letting the life seep out of his fighter he strikes a deal with the owner of the opponent. But his plan backfires and he ends up with a lizard shifter in his wine cellar. A fucking crawler! That he would be a strapping young man if he put on some weight does not help matters.
