Landon O' Conner had issues, serious issues, that could possibly be damaging to himself and those around him. Did he care that he did these things? No. Does he feel bad for the people that it affects? No. Remorse is a foreign word in his vocabulary, but rebellion was quite familiar. So to ensure that the students of Hallandale High School feel safe, Valerie Everette makes it her life goal to make him a better person. To take away the negative aspects about him and make things beautiful.
