Gauntlets, are little crystal or gem things, that control a certain element.
Like fire, ice, nature, etc.

A gifted person around the world gets one element that only they can control.

Me, Ashley, Being myself, controls nature.

To gain your powers of an element, you have to find your element. My element, or gauntlet, was found inside a mining cave.

The Abilities have convinced Water Element, from the Element Fraction, to join the Abilities group. Now it's up to 9 people from the Elements. To stop them and change everything.

I see the world through different eyes--literally. Some people would say I have it all. I'm smart, have popular friends and my parents are loaded. One deadly weekend at the family lake house changes all that. When I wake up in a strange facility in the middle of nowhere, I'm told that I'm being held for the public's safety and that I've been given a gift. I can see threads of light around objects that can be manipulated to change ordinary things into new and, sometimes, unworldly contraptions. But to call it a gift? It's actually pretty freaky. But the facility director has got to be the worst. He's completely obsessed with unlocking my abilities, not to mention he's a psychopath. To make matters worse, there's this boy I like.
