In a modern day Snow White story, Whitney Smith lives with her stepmom Evelyn. After her mother died in an accident and her father constantly at war, Evelyn prevents Whitney from any contact to the outside world. However things change when she sees Fredrick, a city boy from the nearby town. He tells her about the wonders that the city holds and how she should visit it someday. When her stepmother goes a little to far and sends Whitney running for the adventures Fredrick talks about she, meets up with some dwarves that shelter her from her stepmom. Through her adventures with the dwarves to the many peddler ladies that visit her, Winnie realizes the real reason for her stepmom's abuse and fears what might come for her friends her future and her image
