Hungry

"Tell her!"

"Come on, take some risks kid!"

"Your just a wimp!"

"Okay okay I'll do it!"

I heard voices behind me, becoming more and more self concious and afraid they were talking about me.

"Mary? Can you come here please?" My best friend Niall asked me

I turned around a smile on my face.

"Yes?" I asked

"Uhm..."

"Tell her!" Jackson whispered

"I uh...just wanted to tell you..that...uhm" Niall said

"Spit it out."

"I just wanted to tell you that...youraloserandnobodylikesyou"

"What?" I asked not understanding what he had said

"Your a loser, and nobody likes you." he repeated

"But, we're best friends?" I questioned

"No, I uhm..never liked you." His voice cracked and it sounded like he was going to cry.

I walked away, tears streaming down my face. Trying to hold in my sobs while laughter erupted behind me.

This is the day that my life fell apart.
