A few years after the events of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, the Keyblade Masters have begun to waver. Master Yen Sid continued to train King Mickey, who was close to becoming a Keyblade Master, a young girl named Lianna. In Destiny Islands, a young man named Dietrus was taking Sora to Destiny Islands to play with Riku, but he encountered the young girl, who told him that she saw potential in him being a Keyblade wielder. 

Meanwhile, Master Xehanort is conflicting with his old self and who he is now... the destinies are about to intertwine in untold tale of Kingdom Hearts.
