Follow Alix through teen life with her temporary family and working with the FBI to find her actual identity. Alix is a mystery girl and has quite a few special attributions that make her literally different. She's quite unique. Everywhere Alix turns, she sees the twists to follow, but what else can she do than to follow the long, narrow road called life. One of the many twists to come is that she has to hide an ability she comes to notice as normal from her new family, the Blacks and the FBI agents assigned to her case, James and Selene. With the Blacks, Ethan, Carson, Kristopher, and Claire, Alix slowly learns all out how dysfunctional is defined. The family, at first is normal and they do love eachother, but after a while the real troubles behind that cover start to show and how will Alix help fix them? How will the mystery girl turn into so many people's saviour? How different are the twins Ethan and Carson really? Will Alix fall head over heels? How will she react going back to school? These questions and so many more come to mind. If you really want to know the answers then you'll have to take a chance and follow her on her journey of recovery.
