For Katerina Tremain, life as a child was difficult, and as an adult has only gotten worse. As a small child, Kat's parents always nit picked at everything she did. It was never good enough for them. She was a failure in their eyes and no matter how much she tried to exceed their expectations, she was still not good enough. She never would be. She developed low self esteem, anxiety, depression, and over time-paranoia. She adapted and learned to deal with it. She was afraid to do anything for herself. Paranoia along with the constant "What could happen" plagued her every move, her every decision. Fear of the unknown. Going to club 'Pure' was the start of her new life, but when a stranger buys you a drink...you shouldn't accept it. That undiluted feeling of 'fight or flight' hit her in one enormous wave. Fear brought on adrenaline, it sung in her veins-and as she turned to hastily leave, that nagging thought in the back of her mind said, "You're being watched. Run. Now." Katerina knew right then and there that she had made the worst decison of her life. She knew going out to a club and being around people would only cause more problems. What she didn't know was, it would change her future. Her life. Her very soul. And changing her future was going to be slow, painful, and filled with psychological and physical torture. Of course slow, painful, and deliciously torturous is Viktor's specialty-and right now-Katerina was on the menu.

"The curse entailed that only the blood that sought yours, can free you of the curse, until then you shall be asleep." Icarus smirked at her words, he knew where this was going as she continued, "Because your blood is-" "Poisonous and repulsive." She nodded. "So, it's unbelievable that she was the one whose blood sought yours, a human, but it did, or perhaps it was your blood that sought hers...," she mulled over it. "But it's wrong, against the natural-" she observed his gaze. Talking about some natural order of the universe was not something that would befit his ears, given that he was the very example of the abomination formed against the natural laws and order of the blood. ~~ No one knew who he was, or where he came from? But he did, and he conquered all the existing realms, hidden and not so hidden from the human world, and built his kingdom upon the ruins of his enemies. Yet, he remained a pariah. Always was. Always will be. He was Icarus. The Monster. The Legend. The Evil. The Pariah. ~~ Everyone knew her to be a scared little kitten. She looked like one too with her snowy white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a questionable fate. ~~ What was supposed to be a ridiculous adventure, suggested by her equally ridiculous brave friend turned her life into a whirlwind of crazy and bloody, when she stumbled and accidentally awakened the sleeping, ravenous, and absolutely psychotic monster, Icarus. What made her the lucky woman to jostle him out of his centuries of sleep? As a thanks, she was rewarded with the title of being his most beloved SLAVE. Dive into their journey as we unravel their ribbons of fate, and immerse ourselves into their complicated relationship. ~~ This book is a dark fantasy romance novel and Icarus is an original fantasy character that I created. He is not a vampire or a werewolf but something entirely new and interesting.

Incarcerated and tortured for four years, Stefan is hungry, pissed and dangerous. And Lorena Banderas pays the price for being at the wrong place at the right time. Excerpt Sergei glared at her. "Are you falling in love with Romanescu?" "No. You should know me better than that. It's just that since he assaulted me that first night, he hasn't tried to hurt me in any way." "Not physically maybe, but he knows that if he hurts me, that hurt will be transferred to you. I know he intends to kill me and I know that he won't make it easy for me. We have to kill him first." "I don't know, my love." Stefan might be a monster but she didn't want him dead. She just wanted him to leave her alone. All he had to do was to free her and she would never have to see him again. She would move in with Sergei. "I wish there was another way out, my love. But there isn't. He is the only one standing in the way of our happiness unless you would rather be tied to him for eternity." "You know I don't want to."
