It was June 7th or other known as the last day of school for Lowell Middle. Brooklyn Emerson, who was a typical 6th grader who has been waiting for this day to come since school began. When Brooklyn arrives into kitchen with her messy hair and tired eyes she sees her mother making Eggs and Bacon with French toast just for her. Brooklyn stands there not knowing what to do. "Hey sweetie i just thought i would make something special since its the last day of school" said Brooklyn's mother "Thanks mom you're the best!" "thank you sweetie but you may want to eat right now or you'll be late to school" Brooklyn takes her plate to the kitchen table and she sees that her older sister Lauren eating a Waffle that she made herself. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
