The Forest

It all starts with a girl.

She's just a young, teenage girl around the age of sixteen, and she has scarlet ringlets and emerald eyes; she's tiny in height, barely reaching four eleven.

She's just a girl, and she's one that usually gets picked on and bullied because of how tiny she is. She doesn't like taking the mean and rude comments, but she takes them because she can't use physical force, and she hates being mean to anyone else. She doesn't have anything to use to hurt them back, and she wouldn't want to even if she could

And then a boy comes.

He's just a normal boy; he's eighteen and has dark brown hair and bright, electric blue eyes, standing at five eleven. He's not quite buff but not quite average, and he doesn't have the washboard abs. He's just a normal person.

He's really the first person to actually notice the good things about this girl.

He notices that she's sweet and funny and kind and smart and wouldn't ever hurt a fly even if she could. She loves animals and music and reading and writing, and she has the voice of an angel. He digs a little deeper into her, and he notices that there's something a little off about her, notices the almost glow that surrounds her. He's her new neighbor, and he's constantly in his back yard so he can't help but look at her when she's outside. He notices the slits in the back of her shirts and the way she seems to spend almost all of her time in the forest behind their house. He's ready to find out who she is, what she is, and he's ready to tell you about what he found.
