Prince Zuko has been searching for the Avatar for two long years. To date, he's found absolutely nothing. All he really knows is that the Avatar is an airbender, the last of his kind.
Fed up, Zuko begins searching every ship he meets, demanding information about the Avatar's whereabouts. This doesn't go over very well with most people, but what are they going to do against a ship full of firebenders? They answer Zuko's questions and breathe sighs of relief when the banished prince leaves.
Or at least, they do... until one day, Zuko boards a small sailing vessel, with a crew of only seven people. The only passenger aboard isn't too happy with Zuko's attitude, and she lets him know it--by force. Zuko declares war against their ship, and chases them to the Southern Air Temple. When he follows the impudent girl up the mountain, he never expects to catch her airbending. But once he does, he's certain that his quest is over--he's found the Avatar.
Her name is Storm--or at least, that's what she calls herself.
Is it true? Is she the last airbender? Is she the Avatar? And if so, what happened to Aang?
Only Storm knows the answers--and she's not talking.

4 parts Ongoing Mature
Fire Lord Zuko had lived a life defined by duty-first to his nation, then to his family. With peace restored and his throne secure, it was time for the next step: marriage and heirs. The need to tie his personal life to his responsibilities weighed heavily on him. He was prepared for it in theory, but no woman had ever stirred his heart, not in the way he thought a future wife should. That was, until he met her. Princess Lavena was everything Zuko didn't expect-fiery, cold, and utterly indifferent to his rank. More than that, she despised him, and the reason for her hatred was a mystery he couldn't unravel. Yet, despite the anger in her eyes, or maybe because of it, Zuko found himself drawn to her. He wanted her with a hunger that surprised even him. For the first time in his life, he was sure of who he wanted to stand beside him, to tie the red marital ribbon around her palm and call her his wife. But for Lavena, the idea of marrying Zuko was a nightmare. She feared him as much as she hated him, and now she was expected to entrust her future-her entire life-to the man who embodied everything she had come to resent. How could she possibly survive in the shadow of the Fire Lord, bound to him by marriage? the stakes were just as high for Zuko. Winning her over, understanding the depth of her hatred, and navigating the storm between them was not something he could command or control. This was a battle of hearts, and it threatened to tear them both apart. Now, they must face the ultimate question: can they survive each other, or will this marriage of obligation become the ruin of them both? ~~~~ Zuko x oc Must read the first two books of my atla series to understand better

THE OTHER AIRBENDER (Book 1)

30 parts Complete

Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked, completely eradicating the Air Nomads, in an attempt to prevent the Avatar from stopping them. They knew that only the Avatar, master of all four elements, had the power to stop them. They succeeded, and when the world needed him the most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and a brother and sister from the Southern Water Tribe discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. But what if Aang wasn't the last airbender? +++ DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the original story or characters.
