Crimson

The creature pulled my neck back, exposing my warm flesh that was hiding under my cloth.

I closed my eyes tightly and waited for the beast to tear into me, like they'd done to everyone else.

But nothing came.

I slowly opened my eyes to only be greeted by deep dark crimson eyes.
