Evalyn is not your typical girl.
Or typical human being, for that matter.
As a young girl, she underwent a surgical procedure that was intended to make her the new face of humanity -- one that would never age, would never break, and would never die. Growing up within a secret laboratory on the outskirts of the last major city that hasn't been destroyed by war, acid rain, or natural disaster, she is unaware of the exact reason that she was created.
Life as we know it is deteriorating. Disease, war, and famine are taking its toll on humanity, and the only way to fix it is to find a new home -- with new and improved people to go along with it.
Evalyn is to be sent away on a space voyage across the galaxy -- to a planet billions of light years away, to a new earth. To start over with what humanity has destroyed.
