It is 1951, China is rebuilding after the Japanese invasion of World War II and the Chinese communist of the Chinese Civil War. Now, a Gate opens up and China is attacked and dragged into another conflict that could be bloody and attract more hostile rivals.

Gate: Of Marines and Medieval Men
The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

(A/N: Everyone thank Wattpad Sokal7 for helping me bring back this story. It took a very long time, but I've managed to bring it back. I made some changes but almost all of it is the same.) ========== Summary: What if during the 'War for Independence', instead of just 13 colonies choosing to secede from the British Empire, it was ALL the colonies of British North America that chose to fight for their independence. After winning their independence, the colonies would band together and unite to form the United States of Canada. After encountering the JSDF, the people of the parallel Earth are soon in for a shock when they meet their alternate counterparts, especially the Parallel Americans. 2023 Authors Note: In hindsight this is kind of ass, it was my first attempt at writing. But from a reader standpoint, I would prefer the revised version that improves upon this work and does it, at the very least, some justice while keeping some of the originality of the original. Nevertheless New Canteria and its military force known as C.I.D.A prepare for a retaliation strike after it was originally attacked by what could be described as wyverns. A man who is known as Ivan Nile who serves under the unit NW-1 is a major key in taking down the hostile enemies in The New World and experiences combat first hand. But secrets are being kept from both worlds. Will this be a decisive victory or a brutal massacre for New Canteria? Only time will tell.
