Bygone

Aurelie is a citizen of a small, forgotten town. Not too deep in the countryside, and not too close to the city. Not too small and not too big. Not too modern nor too traditional. She has been brought up in an extremely peaceful, sheltered environment. Although sometimes she wonders about the world outside, she is perfectly content staying put. However, a stroke of luck, whether it be good or bad, pushes her out into the world, where nothing is 'just right'.

Note: I'm still in the process of figuring out the storyline of this but I'd like to share what I've written so far! As it's still in the works, major editing has to be done after it's finished so this is a very very very rough draft.
