Have you ever been alone?

Tilly is 12. she is just an ordinary girl with a not-so-ordinary life. Her parents neglect her. Her parents don't care. Her mum is a slut. School hurts Tilly and there is no where Tilly feels safe. But no one knows what she is going through to deserve anything they are doing to her.
Her life just keeps getting worse until she bumps into her loving english teacher who offers to help her and soon the two of them have to stand up to Tilly's mum who is prepared to do anything it takes to sleep with the english teachers boyfriend.
