Kylie is average. Her goal is to get through middle school in one piece, and she knows that the only way for her to do that is to stay unnoticed by everyone. However, when she meets Liam and begins to develop feelings for him, her true self begins to shine through rather than the boring show she puts on to be left alone, which is bad. Very, very bad. She's only survived the first half of her sixth grade year so far, and already her plan is failing. The only person who knows anything about her, including her new crush, is her best friend Lillian, who suddenly want to be noticed. So what is she supposed to do when the only way for her to receive good attention is to get Kylie noticed, but in a bad way?

She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. He has countless tattoos covering his body. And he doesn't care about anything or anyone else. Layla Stevens is your average seventeen year-old girl, just trying to get through high school, with the friends she loves and doing the things she loves. When these two cross paths accidentally in an unusual way, they leave and never expect to speak to each other again. But fate has other plans. Dear Olive, I hate you. I hate that you were born and that your human and have a face. I hate that you live next door to me and I hate that I can't sleep at night because the thought of you has forever left a vivid image creased in the back of my mind. And most of all, I hate that you hate me. Hate, Everest Since the first grade when Olivia Kingston and her family moved in right across the street from Kyle Everest, he had believed to have instantly hated her. (At least thats how he tells the story) And maybe it was just because of the mere fact of her existence, or maybe it was that time she ate the last fruit snack at lunch, or let's not forget, in fifth grade she stole his partner in crime, being his twin sister Madeline. Now being 17 years old Kyle Everest still holds this unknown resentment against his next door neighbor Olivia Kingston, and torches her in any possible way he can, but what would happen when Olivia finally gets sick of letting Kyle torcher her unexplainably? Everything would change in the matter of one day when Olivia accidentally gets them both locked in the principals office in search of the same thing: The truth. But while staying together in a cramped room with no phones and surviving off nothing but the secret stash of their principal, while the entire schools is off on spring break, secrets will be told and feeling will unravel. And let's not forget, hate letters will be sent. This book may seem light and fun but it has some mature scenes and dark thoughts that I'd suggest for viewers 16+

Book #2 of the (trapped in series) •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Kylie Deborah King Innocently raised by her top mafia family of America, a gorgeous girl with long and curly black hair with blue eyes. You'd instantly fall in love with her. Not very short but not very tall. Friendly, and passionate, people die to be her friend. Guys begging to be with her but the thing is she doesn't do relationships, she doesn't do hookups or any of that rebellious behavior. She likes one person the most in the world after her parents though, but she's not sure she should stir things up between the two. She thinks keeping it low key is the best decision for now, unless he's the one to make a move first. Lain D'arcy Yves With only his mother in his life he wasn't really lucky, but with one girl always on his side he managed and got raised to his feet. Had brown hair but died it black since it made him look 'hotter' as he said. Hazel eyes that were so beautifully mixed with green and brown. So tall, very tall he sure ate his vegetables, and he ate them right. Kylie's Best Friend, and a lot more people. He's attractive, and has a girlfriend. Lots of girls are jealous of his girlfriend...that includes Kylie but she's good at hiding her emotions at some occasions. Lain is a smoker, a drinker, a party kind of guy, but it's unknown if he hooked up with girls daily or not, since he has a girlfriend I think he doesn't go around doing stuff, but that's still bad. Always keeping an eye on Kylie whatever she does, but he can't do anything, he's locked up. He keeps his distance. And that isn't making the situation any good.
