Es el año 2128, 120 años han pasado desde que una lluvia de meteoritos trajo con sigo un extraño parasito que dejo a la humanidad al borde de la extinción, debido a esto, los humanos han visto su vida reducida hasta un total de 40 años. Svent, un experimentado "Prospector" de la ciudad de Lisben, es transferido a una unidad de recuperación de recursos, por lo que, junto a otros 7 reclutas, deberá explorar el mundo exterior, infestado de peligros.
