partner project / you're nothing to me (shikamaru x reader)

Y/n and Shikamaru didn't know each other existed at first.

Y/n was new around Konoha, and she goes to the Ninja Academy with Iruka as her Sensei. She has no idea Shikamaru Nara exists until she's assigned a 3 week long project with the smartest kid in the class, and she thinks it's all easy to let him to it all for her until she realizes he takes care of her in more than just the project.

Part 2: You're Nothing To Me

Y/n returns to the Hidden Leaf after 4 years. But she's entirely different; she's not as immature as was before. She reunites with her brother, Yamato, and her ex-best friend, Shikamaru. But you can't get too close to the sun or you'll burn.
