Y/n was new around Konoha, and she goes to the Ninja Academy with Iruka as her Sensei. She has no idea Shikamaru Nara exists until she's assigned a 3 week long project with the smartest kid in the class, and she thinks it's all easy to let him to it all for her until she realizes he takes care of her in more than just the project.

Kakashi is afraid that she may turn against the village and betray everyone. Though not even he knows the demons she carries. The curse her family has kept secret for centuries. Only she will be able to overcome but it doesn't mean it has to be by herself.

It's complete enough as is tho:) ••• To explain the ages, Y/n is the same age as Itachi meaning Kakashi is 8 years older and Shikamaru is 5 years younger. Y/n returns to the village at 18, so hopefully that helps with the age difference between her and Kakashi. ••• There are a million Naruto based fanfics, but I had to add my own. I love it too much not to. I'm not watching the anime currently, so the timeline and scenes might not be perfect. But, it'll be close enough and the story will still be good af. Y/N has always struggled to find a family to call her own. Her biological parents abandoned her, her adoptive ones died tragically and her adoptive brothers are both too selfish to give her the time of day. She's good at hiding how hurt it makes her feel, but little does she know one bad decision will lead to the family she's always dreamed of. After a few weeks, Ino didn't have the flu. She was expecting as well. Sad, lonely, and overworked Sakura continued her work at the hospital and bumped into a patient that was in bad shape. He was going to be in the hospital for a while. Where Sakura sort of felt that a man has never treated her with such kindness before. That's when she debated if she was over Sasuke and asking herself if she can punch through her own mental barrier.
