izuku "deku" midoriya realized his feelings for his childhood friend, katsuki "kacchan" bakugo.

however, he didn't confess.

partly due to him being shy, and partly due to other reasons.

he wasn't sure if their families support them, and he knows that society won't accept them either.

so, he stays quiet.

he doesn't confess,

and he doesn't show traces or hints stating the truth.

what he doesn't know, is that katsuki realized his feelings for izuku too.

so being the brash and straightforward person he is,

katsuki confesses.

he hopes for a good outcome,

but they don't always come easily.

so he prays,

and hopes that izuku would return the feelings.

because if not,

he knows he'll never find love again.
