Michael Clifford, a young, full of laughter teenager falls for his best friend, Ava. Ava was hurt a lot by her ex boyfriend a few months before Michael realises that he doesn't want Ava as a friend. He wants more. Ava's ex found out Ava was suicidal and then left her. The next day he was with some other girl. Michael was the only one that has been there for Ava. He always gave her a shoulder to cry on. They would stay up until 5 in the morning on the phone talking about anything. Ava dropped out of her school and her parents kicked her out. She now lives with Michael's best friend,Ashton. Ashton and Ava become closer and now they are like siblings. Ava has been clean for almost a year. She will be a year clean soon, until her ex boyfriend, Daniel shows up at Michael's house when Michael, Ashton, Ava, and their other friends, Calum and Luke are having a movie night. Daniel storms into the house grabbing Ava by the wrists.
