CASSIE can't remember anything before waking up in the back of a truck. The secretive boy that took the burlap sack off her head and whispered to her to prepare to attack gave her more questions than answers. 

GABE is haunted by his past. He's always done whatever he has to in order to survive. Until he decides to save the mysterious girl from the worst fate he can imagine: the Doctor, and his whole world is turned upside down.

Half the population of children in the world was wiped out by the mysterious illness that followed the wave of Dark Energy. Those that surprised developed powers. Powers that made them dangerous. English isn't my first language, so I'd be happy to receive some criticism and also tips. I'd like to know if my story is interesting, so I know if I should go on and how to improve it :) I know, my writing isn't so good in the beginning, but I think it gets better throughout the story.
