A drabble story written for the Wattpad Short Story, Reading List Marathon, Realistic Fiction, Love Diaries. It was the month of October, the sky dusked among the old town of fallen leaves. In this old town, there was an abandoned mansion located among the pine trees. In this seemingly mysterious mansion, there was a hidden chamber, in which there was a lad who walked on a corridor towards the dark chamber for the unknown. What's the unknown?

Take a ride with Iris on this beautiful journey, where she learns to live with her past, an hopefully discovers secrets that help her find who she truly is. I sat over the boundary wall thinking all this all by to myself. Sitting on the terrace alone with those thoughts, was the only time I could be myself. Suddenly there was a thud. I was startled but held on firmly. No one is supposed to know I am here, what if they find out.. what will I do.......... I had no answers. With fear I turned around expecting someone familiar, someone who discovered me,my place and waiting for that nagging voice. But what I found was a guy, an unfamiliar face, which brought to me a feeling of relief. But at the same time I felt a strange sensation, feeling I don't know afraid. The guy, clad in yellow shirt and sweatpants, with messy jet black hair, and pretty eyes looking at me with a questionable look. I don't know just what to say. I am feeling I am being interrogated, but how can there be such an effect just with one expression? I mean I should be the one with questions, after all this rather unknown potentially dangerous guy just somehow jumps to my terrace and instead of giving an apology looks at me with those questionable eyes. The House In The Forest
Albert Beckett was forced to move to his grandfather's backwater town to live for a year while his parents were traveling for work, and while it seems like a boring sleepy town, things aren't so cozy. The people are curious and overly friendly, and the weird town myth that has a hundred different varieties weighs heavy on his heart. The old closed highway behind town and the off-road that none of his friends will walk bring him nightmares of a women with dark hair. The mysteries of this town and whatever strange events that occurred all those years ago seem to be pulling him in, and the house at the end of that off-road that was supposed to be abandoned holds the one thing that he wasn't expecting to find, who quickly grows to be the one thing he doesn't want to lose. ~Story is complete, but not edited, originally written in 2021 for the National Novel Writing Month challenge~Complete

His hand came up, fingers threading through my hair before fisting it, tilting my head back so I had no choice but to meet his eyes-those stormy, merciless gray eyes that burned with something terrifyingly possessive. "Because you're mine." I swallowed hard, my breath hitching as his lips brushed against the sensitive skin of my neck. He inhaled deeply, his grip tightening. "There's something about you, something different. Your scent..." He let out a low, almost pained growl. "It drives me mad." His other hand ghosted over my throat, his thumb pressing lightly against my pulse. "I should keep you locked away, hidden from everyone. But even that won't be enough, will it? Because no matter where you go, no matter how far you run... I will always find you."
