Loyalty can only be stretched so far. It's like an elastic band. If you stretch it too far, it breaks and theirs no fixing it. When you stretch someone's loyalty, there's no earning it back. Your elastic band is broken and no matter how many times you try and fix it or get a new one, it's never the same band you once knew.
"You give them a taste of their own medicine, then they tell everyone you poisoned them."
When you've been stretched so far and you break, you can choose to be strong or give up. If you choose to be strong, you might feel like the need to say FUCK YOU and show them what they did to hurt you, but then it gets turned around and blamed on you.
Draco Malfoy is absolutely done living in the shadow of the plan his parents have for him. He's reached his breaking point and he physically can't go on pretending to be some evil bastard anymore. It's killing him.

Draco Malfoy has always had a stone, cold look on his face. He always looked as if he had no emotions whatsoever. Ever since I first met him, he was like that. He's always been a sarcastic, arrogant, egotistical, narcissistic, manipulative, annoying little shit, but on the other hand, I can tell that he's misunderstood, lost, and in need of help. I've seen a side of him that no one else has. He doesn't know that I've seen the good side of him. He didn't mean for me to see his vulnerable side, but I did. I know he can be a good guy. He lives like a zombie, until his beloved mother cannot handle it any longer and sends him to a clinic to get the help he so desperately needs. But recovery is not the only thing he finds in the clinic. Harry Potter might be the real hero who saved everyone from Lord Voldemort, but he certainly does not feel that way. He cannot sleep but when he does the nightmares hunt him. The pain he feels and the fears he has almost kill the boy who lived. Until one day his girlfriend cannot handle it any longer and sends him to a clinic to get the help he so desperately needs. But recovery is not the only thing he finds in the clinic. *** I feel like I should give some warnings. This book contains a few things that I should probably warn you for (in the first chapter you can find more warnings) : - It is obviously a boyxboy story so if you do not feel comfortable reading a story with a homosexual theme please do not read the story. - It will contain mental illnesses and I do not want you to read another word of this book if you know your sensitive for this kind of things.
