Keith was never a boy to begin with.

But growing up and having to live up to others expectations as a female was tiring, so, right after his fathers death, right before entering middle school in a new area, he became who he is now.

When Pidge first revealed herself as a girl and everyone accepted her, Keith wondered if he also could. Maybe even Lance would show Keith some form of leniancy.

But Keith is too scared. 

Terrified.

What happens when a certain Galra finds out the paladins true gender?

Will Voltron also find out?

How will his family react to being lied to all of middle school and their beginning at the Garrison, and for the whole years in space with Voltron?

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives.
