"You know I can't do that, Jungkook," Nina spoke, trying to hold back her cries. "Don't even talk like that. We'll get help for you."

"Nina." He gripped her hand and held her gaze, his expression firm. "Promise me."

The tears slipped down her cheeks as she gave a weak nod.

"I promise."

A few years after a simple rabies case grew into a disease that took most of humanity, Yomu Nina stayed within the walls of the camp training to one day work on the field team. Trouble arises when the leader goes missing and her rival, Jeon Jungkook, takes his place.

When she causes an accident resulting in her kitchen catching fire, Nina is forced to room with Jungkook until she is able to find a new place to stay. Things get interesting as a bond grows between the two that becomes a little stronger than a normal friendship.
