Two friends who are like sisters born on the same lunar eclipse on the witching hour with extraordinary powers that only they know about. that is until they find their mates who are neighboring packs. with hunters out to rid the world of all werewolves, the girls learn how to hon their power rid of the hunters who have abused their powers after learning about what their purpose is from the moon goddess who gifted them their powers.
Awww poor puppy throwing a temper tantrum.~ Sid and Tara laughed through the mind link. Tara was tired of watching him attack the tree so she tapped into her powers and grew some apples deciding to go on the offense instead of defense she rained down apples on the alpha until she got his attention.
"Is the puppy mad at his toy?" She said condescendingly as if she were talking to a baby. Shifting back to his human form he finally gave up fighting with the female.
"You can't stay up there forever you know!" Shadow said breathing heavily
Tara just smiled placed her hand on the tree and before his eyes, a hammock of leaves and branches appeared and she laid down in it smirking she looks him in the eye and says "Wanna bet?"
"Well, what about food? Your gonna have to come down to eat eventually." He said getting more frustrated by the minute. At this point he was just grasping at straws he couldn't even try to understand his frustrating female because she refused to come out of the fucking tree!
"Did you forget the part where I grew apples and was throwing them at you? I love fruit and I'll be just fine up here so... buh bye!" Tara says with a very dismissive wave. Shadow knew there was no way she was coming out of that tree today so he finally gave up retreating to the packhouse, as he was about to open the door he heard her voice from the forest.
"I WIN!"

Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Complete

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I make a flying leap to attack and am suddenly hit with a strong, overwhelming scent of vanilla and citrus. "Mate!" My wolf yells in my head. My conviction evaporates and confusion hits me, but I don't have time to think about what this means. Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in. "Shit" I swore holding my nose, it seemed broken and the effect of our collision drew some blood. Rummaging through a drawer, she retrives a cotton wool, taking a piece of it, she presses it to my nose and holds it there. I'm surprised by this gesture, but there really was no need for this, my body was beginning to heal already. One of the many benefits of possessing abilities as mine. I immediately seized the opportunity to study her. She had a straight face, slightly pointed nose. Her small, luscious lips were slightly parted. With skin glowing like crystals, I was ready to bet my skin she really was a goddess among other girls. My eyes travelled away from her face....downwards...
