Awww poor puppy throwing a temper tantrum.~ Sid and Tara laughed through the mind link. Tara was tired of watching him attack the tree so she tapped into her powers and grew some apples deciding to go on the offense instead of defense she rained down apples on the alpha until she got his attention.
"Is the puppy mad at his toy?" She said condescendingly as if she were talking to a baby. Shifting back to his human form he finally gave up fighting with the female.
"You can't stay up there forever you know!" Shadow said breathing heavily
Tara just smiled placed her hand on the tree and before his eyes, a hammock of leaves and branches appeared and she laid down in it smirking she looks him in the eye and says "Wanna bet?"
"Well, what about food? Your gonna have to come down to eat eventually." He said getting more frustrated by the minute. At this point he was just grasping at straws he couldn't even try to understand his frustrating female because she refused to come out of the fucking tree!
"Did you forget the part where I grew apples and was throwing them at you? I love fruit and I'll be just fine up here so... buh bye!" Tara says with a very dismissive wave. Shadow knew there was no way she was coming out of that tree today so he finally gave up retreating to the packhouse, as he was about to open the door he heard her voice from the forest.
"I WIN!"

Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in. My front door was wide open but nobody was there, the wood was just swinging in the doorway allowing the cool breeze in my house. What if somebody was already inside? I hopped over the living room sofa, to climb the stairs yet again and as I made it to the landing I was thrown into the wall. My body pinned against it with a muscled form shadowing mine. His husky voice was a distinct reminder that he was my mate. The tingles that spread through my body made me hate but love the entire situation. I want him closer. "You don't run away from me, understand?" I nodded, he was really close to me and my wolf purred for him to be closer. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as he slowly removed his hand. "What do you want?" I demanded, making the futile attempt to shove him away though he didn't move an inch. "I want what is mine." He replied with a low growl that sent chills up my spine. My back was still pressed firmly against the wall and I think I was in shock to move. Though I felt safe which made me feel sick, how could I be safe in the presence of him? "No." I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "No?" He repeated my words back to me and I boiled the kettle for a cup of tea. Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. "Shit" I swore holding my nose, it seemed broken and the effect of our collision drew some blood. "Gosh, I'm so sorry" a soft feminine voice apologizes "I swear, I didn't notice you were there" she says again. Rummaging through a drawer, she retrives a cotton wool, taking a piece of it, she presses it to my nose and holds it there. I'm surprised by this gesture, but there really was no need for this, my body was beginning to heal already. One of the many benefits of possessing abilities as mine. I immediately seized the opportunity to study her. She had a straight face, slightly pointed nose. Her small, luscious lips were slightly parted. With skin glowing like crystals, I was ready to bet my skin she really was a goddess among other girls. My eyes travelled away from her face....downwards... The towel that covered her body was incredibly short revealing a pair of beautifully tanned legs... Instantly my testosterone began to skyrocket. And then I caught her scent... She is just HUMAN...
