Elle décide alors de quitter le village pour aller en ville chez son oncle. Son but est de continuer ses études et de mener l'enquête pour découvrir la vérité. Zahra et Rachid sont obligés de vivre ensemble, car Zahra est la nièce de Bachir Gueye. Dès son arrivée, la maison devient un terrain d'affrontement psychologique entre Rachid et Zahra. Tous les deux ont des blessures du passé et mènent chacun une enquête de leur côté. Rachid cherche le meurtrier de ses parents pour se venger. Zahra, elle, cherche à découvrir l'identité de son vrai père. Dans la famille Gueye, tout le monde est un peu fou et de très lourds secrets vont bientôt éclater.
