Frank is a traveling hitchhiker that comes across a Roman Catholic priest named Gerard Way, who dedicates his whole life to God and Christ. However, Frank soon realizes that Gerard has dark and sinister intentions when he kidnaps him. Upon being kidnapped, Frank is forced to endure immense torture and trauma. He also discovers that there's more than one person living in Gerard's body as a result of all the painful memories he endured in the past. Frank soon realizes that he needs to fight for his life before it's too late for him.

He is smart, and caring and isn't afraid to stand up for himself, which is a strong contrast to the other caretakers and doctors at the institute. Frank's boss, Dr. Parker, assigns Frank to provide help for Gerard. They are both opposites in many ways, but will that stop Frank from gaining Gerard's trust and seeing his true self?
