The Crossroads

Astrid Gomez-Bourchier grew up in a family of elites, who have businesses all over the world. She was expected to follow the footsteps of her parents- her father, a very successful and powerful businessman or her mother, a respected woman in their world: the world of the elites, with charities from all over the country.

At the age of twenty eight, a lot has happened to Astrid. She rebelled against her family's wishes, she married a powerful French businessman, she gave birth to a beautiful little girl, and she already organized a funeral for her husband- who died two years after their marriage.

Right now, all she wants is for her daughter to have more than what she have right now. As for her, she wants to live up to everyone's expectations of her, because that's the only thing that would bring honor, not just to her, but to her family as well.

But just when she thought all is well, a ghost from the past started haunting her. A familiar face appeared after more than five years.
