Working as a consulting detective means that Sherlock, even though he doesn't want to, has to interact with lots of new people on every case. But the problem is, everyone is so boring and idiotic in his eyes. They're oblivious to the world around them, and they don't observe, only see. Well, maybe Georgia is the exception.
