She also knows she has to find the last En Puwe 'the last one for they all died to'. The En Puwe will unlock her memories, but avio palafertiil will unlock her powers at full. As the last person to understand and speak the language of the Karpatii she can incant spells. But along with the power struggle she has to deal with a live of an orphan. Having an caretaker that knew your parents is not always the best. Eve must deal with a multi-sided battle.
