In which Camilla, a sixteen-year-old italian girl, returns home from her exchange program in New York City with a surprise. Little does her school mates, including her best friend/brother, know that this surprise isn't a something and rather a someone.

Isabella, sixteen, has lived in between America and Australia for a year with her aunt. Born in Australia, the young girl has travelled her whole life but is ready to move away from Western countries. And after hosting Camilla in her home during her exchange, Isabella is invited by her new italian friend to stay with her in Rome and to complete a year of schooling overseas.

Niccolo, however, is just a young boy who wants to live out his teenage years as normally as possible. With girls hanging off of him at every possible moment he realises that he just wants someone new. After being pushed aside and dumped by his teacher, of which he had been secretly hooking up with, Niccolo is desperate for his sister to come home. However instead of receiving a souvenir as a present from New York, he is gifted the burden of having a beautiful girl staying at his home who has no interest in him at all.
