When the mortal thief Muse steals an ancient and powerful tome from the vampire magi apprentice Serena, he sets off a chain of events that sends the fragile balance of power within the city spiraling out of control.  Smelling the blood in the water, other forces begin to move and search for the thief for their own reasons.

(This story originally started as a fan project loosely based off World/Chronicles of Darkness's Vampire the Masquerade and the characters of ASMR artist Indigo Stars.  As the story evolved, it continued to move further and further from the base material and took on a life of its own.  I've chosen to rewrite the story and move it from my wordpress to Wattpad.
