They are put on the simple enough case of Martha Sylvette, a woman who had been murdered, however as the two detectives delve deeper into the mystery, they question everyone and everything as the true nature of the city is revealed

This is a story containing the origin of an ambitious concept I have since continued. It's so simple I can explain it in one sentence. "A private detective working with a vigilante in Post-War Chicago try to solve crimes while evading a suspicious Police Captain." It doesn't shy away from the racism that is necessary, nor does it dive headlong into that to the fullest extent. This is a story about cops, crooks, and private investigators. It's not a political statement. There is no reflection on today's politics to be found, or to be made in any past or future installments of this. There are people who commit what we would consider mass shootings today in broad daylight, there are incidents of sexual harassment and casual racism because the year is 1948 when the story begins. I did not write this to offend or support anybody real or living past or present. So without further warding, this is the story of a private detective and a veteran of both world wars who are brought together to face a tragedy and unravel a larger world of violence and crooks in their own ways in 1948 Chicago.Concluída

Frank Rogers: Private Detective
Frank Rogers is a private detective who solves mystery cases. He started doing a private detective business when he's 13 years old while attending school. His goal is to try to become the greatest detective in the U.S. and to become better than his father, Jack Williams Rogers. He then gets a partner and assistant named Leonard Baker Bone. But then, after he solves some certain cases, Frank gets a message from an evil organization known as "Lords of Violent Extremists" (A.K.A. L.O.V.E.) that they will try to plan to commit crimes in the city wherever the city and state they go to in different seasons. After Frank gets a message from L.O.V.E., he then decides to make a team of detectives to solve mysteries wherever they go while trying to find L.O.V.E. and to take them down one day. They're known as "The Detective Gang". (Prequel to The Adventures of Agent X!) (Note: It is inspired off of FDK's life and childhood as well as Sherlock Holmes, Case Closed (A.K.A. Detective Conan), Scooby-Doo! and BBC's Sherlock.

Diana and Vince are childhood friends. They way they depend on each other makes this relationship toxic. They know each other way too well, this fact becomes their krypto. He reads her like a book, she does not hide anything. She is too blind to see his dark side and he is too blinded by the light she brings to him. He feels like he con go any lengths to "protect" her, she justifies her actions. Toxic. This balance worked all too well, untill it did not. Untill, they both crossed some lines.
