The Zero Hour Reckoning spared none - not men of God nor men of science. No one could survive; no one could escape it. You can't fight fate.

People in 2271 live uncomplicated lives. Each of them is born with the number 365 scarred on their wrists - a number that begins to dwindle upon reaching the last year of their lives. Once their heart stops, the countdown reaches zero and they are dead. Some live their last year to the fullest, some try to end it on their own terms in defiance of "God", and others, like Aurora Carpenter, live quietly even on their last day.

When a horrific accident takes her life on her last day, the unthinkable happens: she wakes up covered in blood with her wrist permanently reading 00. She survived her own countdown - her own death.

Leaders want her captured. Scientists want her dissected. Religious factions want her dead. The only person on her side is Sheridan, a boy she hardly knows whose countdown resides at only 92 days and the son of Cult Leader, Marcus Booker. Now on the run with few other fugitives, they must fight for their very lives to find the truth behind Rory's revival and the numbers that rule their lives.

This winter, fight fate.

Some fates are worse than death--survival is one of them. In the two hundred years since humanity left the Earth's surface to live in the sky, life on the ground faded to a myth, a tragic memory from which they severed themselves to survive. They floated above continents turned to sand and lands swallowed by the seas, watched storm after storm rage against their cities and their monuments until they broke apart the last vestiges of civilization in penance for generations of human greed. As a lightning harvester charged with flying her ship into these storms for energy, Raina has seen more of the planet than most. She has spent her entire life soaring above its craters and scars, studying the gaping wounds of human devastation, as she honed her skills and became the youngest captain in storm-chaser history. Her ship has flown for generations. Her skills are unparalleled. But none of that matters the day they go down. ~ Praise for Earth, After: "I'm so not ready for this ending. Cover art done by the amazing @EllieRose011!!! *** "Will, thank the Angel you are awake," Jem sighed, going to his bedside. "How are you feeling?" Will stared at him, the fear of God etched all over his face. "I-I don't know you," he stammered in a very un-Will-like way. "Who are you? Who-Who am I?" *** One night, Will goes missing and does not return. Sick with worry, Jem and Tessa desperately try to find him, searching anywhere and everywhere for information but to no avail. Then one month later, by utter chance, they find him, bloody and beaten, in Hyde park. Both Jem and Tessa are relieved that they found him but a new sinister twist is revealed. Will has lost his memory. He was no recollection of his life at all. He doesn't recognise Charlotte or Henry or Jessamine or the Lightwood brothers. He doesn't remember his sister Cecily or his love for Tessa. Even Jem is a stranger to him. Tessa and Jem have to find a way to get their Will back. But with Mortmain closing in and a new enemy to face, will it be too late to reach him?
