"Hey, guys," they greeted, to no one in particular. "I'm just starting up this video diary in case anyone finds this sometime in the future. Heck, maybe even I'll find this in the future."
They paused, stifling a chuckle, breaking eye contact as they closed their eyes, before looking back at the camera once more.
This is the story of how Dedf1sh, the mysterious DJ from the depths of the Deepsea, came to be. Once a regular Octoling, they somehow ended up in the confines of the Deepsea Metro. How they ended up sanitized, however, is a mystery to most, even themselves.
(A/N: Everyone has different headcanons on who Dedf1sh is, so my depiction will be using they/them pronouns as to clear conflicts.)

I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer?
