This is a Malec AU story. Alec is a young actor who just had his big break. He is going to work together with the well-known actor Magnus Bane. But Alec isn't pleased with this. He has been worried about him for a while now and it's not until Alec doesn't show up at school that he doesn't act up on his suspicions, about what's truly going on in Alec's life. This fanfic implies abuse and bullying but it isn't explicit. The bullying is only referenced but the abuse is something they'll talk about a lot.
