De vermissing van John Shepperd zorgde voor veel vragen bij de politie. Uiteindelijk kwam een agent Antonio erachter dat er iets raars aan de hand was. Na veel onderzoek had hij een complot theorie dat Nathan hem had vermoord met behulp van een horloge dat door de tijd kon reizen. Iedereen verklaarde hem voor gek.
