A place for me to share details that otherwise might not find their way into my story. During this last week leading up to Nanowrimo, at which point I'll start writing my story, I'll practice meeting my word count per session by writing entries for my appendix.

When poor decisions lead them toward the dark woods, things go from bad to worse. If the elements don't get them first, their own demons might devour them alive. What happens when a young siren meets a human man? She certainly won't drown him, he's too special. But what would the other sirens say about it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is my NaNoWriMo 2021 entry. It was, as the challenge goes, written in the span of one month. As such it has not been well revised and is less than ideal. It is likely not fleshed out properly, as when I wrote it I was merely sticking to a story and a timeline so that I could finish in time. Sirens in this world do not drown humans. Instead, they feed off of the adoration from humans that they lure close, and then wipe their memory.
