This is a story about one of my best friends that committed suicide... I am writing this story because I want people to know what bullying can do to people.. It is truly sad that someone as young as she was didn't even get a chance to have children, get married, or even experience a relationship.. I am done being silent about bullying I am making a stand.. This is my perspective on what Jessica told me and what I saw first hand.

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book!
