My eyes drifted down to the half empty beer bottle he clutched in his hands. Watching as he slowly raised it, I flinched away knowing that it would be smashed into my skull any time soon.
In a split-second my head was pounding and broken glass littered my long dark brown hair and the floor I was curled up on. No sound left my mouth as I quickly lost consciousness.
The last thing I heard was the man that raised me call me a 'son of a bitch' before everything faded and I drifted off to a world of pure darkness.
