project: CROW

Another Crow fanfic.

"Project Crow" is a story based off of "The Crow" by James O'Barr. Through the many, MANY comic, story and movie adaptations, I haven't found one with a predominantly African-American cast. (If there is, for the love of fuck let me know.) The story follows Josiah Miller, a 24 year old young man, fresh out of college. He found a job and is ready to get out of a crime-ridden Project in New York, for a better life. Not just for him, but for his Fiancé, Jackie and his 8 year son, JJ (Josiah Junior.) One night in a robbery gone, Josiah, Jackie and JJ are killed, Jackie getting the worst of the ordeal. The story, however, begins in a precinct, the night before Halloween, one year later, trying to figure out who's been killing small-time offenders of drug dealers. Josiah has already transformed into the Crow at this point, trying to get to the Mastermind of the robbery that destroyed his life.
