Marinette opens the package in a hurry. She figures it is no time like today to find out if this is it or not. She looks inside and gasp. She notices how realistic the scarecrow looks. As a farmer, she feels like nothing prepares her for his life-like appearance.
Luka is the name Marinette gives to it. He has bright green hair, two small funny turquoise eyes, red lips, and stands on two brown slit legs. He wears a yellow hat, yellow shirt with green patches on the sleeves, and blue jeans.
Marinette, waits to see if the crows are frightened by him. She does not want to see her vegetables taken by these pests.
