Darkness. Isolation. The first-ever contagious mental illness was out. It was bloodthirsty, relentless and would stop at nothing until it had possession over your mind. Nobody knows if it had a creator, a controller or if it was a demon of its own making. Trapping you inside your own mind forever, it destroyed you from the inside, voice by haunting voice. ~~~~~~~~ It all started last year. We'd only been having innocent fun, going crazy in her bedroom with the music blasting. That's when you could see it. Day after day, she stopped texting me, she stopped laughing, and at one point, stopped talking altogether. Her mom thought it was just a phase, saying it would pass. But it all came down to one thing: the voices. They were her companions, Kaylie had told me before going completely mute. They kept her company when no one else would. I was hoping she would see past it. But then she went missing. And it was already too late for him. But what about me? I'd been blamed for Kaylie's disappearance AND his insanity and I was starting to blame myself for it too. She'd gone without a trace, and he'd become more distant every day, leaving nothing but hatred and loneliness to follow. No one knew what had happened to them. . . or did they?

I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening. As soon as the door was in my sight, I heard Jessie calling out my name. Her voice grabbed my attention, and I briskly turned around. I knocked right into a tall figure, causing me to lose my balance and fall. All the people dancing blocked my vision so I couldn't grab onto anything to prevent myself from falling. My arms met the hardwood floor as I tried to catch myself, sending a shock of pain through my arms. "Forgive me ma'am." Someone said while extending an arm down to me. "It's fine. No harm was-" ✰ Status: FInished NOTE*** This story contains mental illness and suicidal themes. PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION! ***and mild cussing My grammar probably sucks I researched thoroughly on bpd to portray Damien's character correctly but I'm sorry if it's not accurate. I in no way meant for the portrayal of someone with a borderline personality disorder to be represented wrong or only seen from stereotypes. ★ Best Rankings ★ Assault- #1 Borderlinepersonalitydisorder- #1 Bpd- #8 Captive- #44 Selfharmawareness- #55 Darklove- #57 Mentalillness- #81 Copyright © 2020
