I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. We do switch from one mask to another for every person in life. We do say "I am an open book in front of a particular person" but we all know either 1 or the other thing maybe the most minor thing that can be. We do hide from that person. Does that mean we are lying? Does that mean we are not loyal or trustworthy? Does that mean we don't value their love and care? Does that mean we are playing with feelings?
