Adam Davenport was so excited. His girlfriend of a year, Sadie Evans, was finally coming out to Mission Creek to attend Emmie's mom's wedding! He had all these big plans to show her around his hometown, to take her out on as many dates as he could, and to finally have her with him after the war.
