Humanity and the NOAH race declare war on each other because the result of a human research on parallel universes shows that it is possible to travel to other universes through a black hole. NOAH, afraid of humanity gaining overwhelming superiority, launches a large-scale war to obtain research material.
As the war rages on, a homunculus scientist secretly completes the research that everyone is fighting for and steals humanity's most advanced spacecraft, departing shortly afterward towards the black hole.
