†Young Deric is banished from his home. His love taken away. His family's namesake ruined. His relations with his father and brother broken. He has no one to depend on. He requests an army of a hundred men and some merchants. Workers and some builders. He sets out on a journey to someplace far from his home and  makes his own home. A kingdom. His power could stretch far. Many travelers come and go from his castle as it expands. The kingdom grows. His allies become many. But behind all truth, is a lie. He adopts a child. Deric had lost enough in his life. But a few losses will be ready for him. He may lose everything. This is his story. A story of a boy who rises up and becomes king of the new empire.†
