When the Queen's Guard Dog is ordered to solve the new case of Burlington Workhouse, he and Sebastian will meet a new acquaintance.

Jynx knows she's caught up in a race against time. Her contract with her sister is under threat, and if something isn't done about it soon, the loss of their lives could be the consequence. The two are separated, and Jynx will do everything in her power to get her sister out of the Workhouse. Even if it means she will have to serve a brat for years afterwards.
